Halloween Costume Contest

Come Get Creepy!!!! Lots of folks turned out for the Annual Costume Contests held each year for the kids and their pets at Barefoot Landing. There were some great costumes, but only a few could win.

Saturday, October 24:

12:00 to 4:00 pm Juggling, unicycling, lots of fun and comedy will amuse and entertain you as Nick Pike thrills everyone with his wacky fun! 1:00 Pets' Costume Contest Nick Pike 2:30 Kids' Costume Contest Nick Pike

12:00 to 4:00 pm Joe Joe the Magician will fascinate you with mesmerizing magic tricks that will amaze you! Get a balloon animal, watch some magic and enjoy the contests and free carousel rides for partiipating kids!

5 pm to 7 pm, Oct. 31 Dress the kids up and come on out to scare everyone into some great treats! Wander through Barefoot Landing, show off your costume and do your trick or treating the safe and fun way at Barefoot Landing. Free bags available in the Lakeview Courtyard and free carousel rides to kids who dress up from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Kids' Costume Contest winners were Reid Batchelor, 3 as John Deere, Aidan Speranza, 3 as the lion and the ostrich Second place winners were: Sydney Mitchum as the rock star, Kayden Freburger as Nemo and Taylor Smith as Mario. Pet winners were Buffy for best costume (medic), Jazz for best trick and tailwagger, and Maddie for best kisser.
